Les Contamines Montjoie offers excellent skiing for all abilities, with a total of 120km of pisted terrain to explore. Beginners can find their feet on the resort’s gentle nursery slopes, while the wide range of blue and red runs are perfect for intermediate skiers looking to improve their skills. 

For advanced skiers, there are plenty of challenging black runs, including the infamous Aiguille Croche, which offers stunning views of Mont Blanc. The resort is also a favourite amongst freeride enthusiasts, boasting some of the best off-piste skiing in the region.

For something a bit different, why not try Le Husky, a cosy, wood-panelled bar offering a great selection of wines and local beers? And if you’re looking to dance the night away, L’Eclipse is the place to be, with its live DJ sets and buzzing atmosphere.

The resort offers a fantastic range of dining options, both on and off the mountain. For a hearty mountain lunch, Le Chalet de la Roselette is a must-visit, offering delicious Savoyard specialities and stunning views of the Mont Blanc range. 

In the village, Le Bistrot de la Mairie is highly recommended, known for its exceptional local cuisine and charming, rustic interior. For a special treat, try L’Ô à la Bouche, which offers a sophisticated menu of gourmet French dishes.

How to Get to Les Contamines Montjoie 

The quickest way to get to Les Contamines Montjoie from the UK is to fly to Geneva Airport, which is a 1h10m transfer from the resort. Other nearby airports include Chambéry Airport (1h40m) and Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport (2h). If you are travelling by train, Saint-Gervais-les-Bains Le Fayet is the nearest station (30 minutes transfer). If you choose to drive, there is plenty of parking available in and around the resort.
