Located at an elevation of 1,500m with its highest ski lift reaching 2,354m, La Tzoumaz is an enchanting resort nestled in the Swiss Alps. This hidden gem is part of the expansive Four Valleys ski area, offering a whopping 410km of skiable terrain.

La Tzoumaz, a traditional Swiss mountain village, boasts a variety of accommodation options ranging from cosy chalets, comfortable apartments to luxurious hotels. The resort is known for its consistent snowfall, ensuring a white blanket of snow throughout the ski season, which usually stretches from early December to late April.

La Tzoumaz is a paradise for skiers of all skill levels, offering an impressive 55km of pisted terrain within the resort, and an additional 355km as part of the Four Valleys ski area. For beginners, there are several wide and gentle slopes to practice on, with the Etablons being a favourite amongst novice skiers.

For intermediate skiers, the Savoleyres area offers a mix of blue and red runs, providing both variety and a challenge. Advanced skiers can test their skills on the challenging black runs at Mont Gelé and Tortin.

Freestyle enthusiasts will love the snowpark at La Chaux, which features a range of jumps, rails and boxes suitable for all abilities. The off-piste skiing in La Tzoumaz is also renowned, with vast areas of untouched powder to explore.

The Central Hotel Bar is a popular après-ski spot, known for its vibrant atmosphere and live music. For those looking for a more relaxed evening, Le Verre à Pied offers a cosy setting and a great selection of wines.

For a traditional Swiss meal, try the fondue at Les Fougeres, or if you’re after a gourmet dining experience, head to La Tzoumaz’s top restaurant, Chez Simon. How to Get to La Tzoumaz

The most convenient way to reach La Tzoumaz from the UK is by flying into Geneva Airport, which is approximately a 2-hour transfer. Other nearby airports include Sion Airport (1 hour) and Zurich Airport (3 hours). If you’re travelling by train, the closest station is Martigny, which is a 30-minute drive from the resort. For those driving, there is ample parking available at the resort.
