Glenshee Resort Overview
Located in the scenic Highlands of Scotland, Glenshee ski resort is the largest winter sports destination in the UK. The resort sits at 650m, while the highest ski lift reaches up to 1,067m. Spread over 790 hectares, Glenshee offers an impressive 40km of pisted terrain.

For more advanced skiers, the Tiger – Glenshee’s black run – offers a thrilling skiing experience with its steep and challenging terrain. The resort also provides excellent opportunities for off-piste skiing, with the area around Glas Maol offering the best conditions.
Glenshee has a reputation for freestyle skiing, with two terrain parks that cater to both beginners and more experienced skiers.

While Glenshee might not have the wild après-ski scene of some larger European ski resorts, it offers a charming, laid-back environment where one can unwind after a day on the slopes.

The Cairnwell Mountain Restaurant, located at the top of the Cairnwell chairlift, offers stunning panoramic views of the resort and serves a variety of hot and cold meals. How to Get to Glenshee
Getting to Glenshee is straightforward, with several airports in close proximity. The closest is Dundee Airport, around a 1h 30m drive away. Aberdeen Airport and Edinburgh Airport are both approximately a 2h drive from the resort.
If you are travelling by train, the nearest stations are Perth and Dundee, both of which are around a 1h 30m drive from the resort. For those driving to Glenshee, there is ample parking available at the base of the slopes.
