Alagna Valsesia provides a fantastic ski experience for all, with a varied range of slopes to suit beginners through to advanced skiers. Its lift system provides access to the entire Monterosa Ski area, offering a total of 180km of pisted terrain.

For beginners, there are gentle slopes around the base of the resort, providing a safe and comfortable environment to learn and practise. Intermediate skiers can enjoy a broad range of blue and red runs, including the long, sweeping descents from Passo Salati.

Advanced skiers will be thrilled by the resort’s challenging black runs and its reputation for excellent off-piste skiing. The Punta Indren lift gives access to an impressive freeriding area and adventurous skiers can explore the extensive off-piste terrain, with the help of a mountain guide.

How to Get to Alagna Valsesia

The closest airports to Alagna Valsesia are Turin (1h 40m), Milan Malpensa (2h) and Bergamo (2h 30m). The resort does not have a direct train connection, but you can take a train to Varallo Sesia and then a bus to Alagna Valsesia. If you’re driving, the resort is approximately a two-hour drive from Turin.
