We’re delighted to announce that we’ve updated your Maison Sport calendar, bringing you a cleaner, more user friendly design and useful new features to help you set your availability correctly. Now that we’ve released this update, it gives us the opportunity to add more features rapidly over the coming weeks. Keep reading to learn what’s changed now and what’s coming in the next week or two.

Here’s what’s new:

Create custom events

In your old Maison Sport calendar you were unable to add an event to block availability – for example if you have another lesson booked away from Maison Sport, an appointment or simply a morning or day off, you can use the ‘add event’ button. Creating an event will block your availability across the times/dates you’ve selected.

Day/organiser view

If you click on a day the calendar now opens up a view of that day, here you can see more detail on your bookings and events – clicking on a booking/event will open up the details for that booking/event.

Accessing your calendar settings

We’ve changed how you access your settings (pricing and timeslots), the popout is unchanged from before apart from we’ve added a shortcut to also create a booking rule within the calendar.

Selecting multiple days to update your settings

To change your settings or add an event spanning multiple days you now do this in the popout by selecting ‘to’ and ‘from’ dates (much like a standard google/ical calendar).

We’ve got more features coming very soon:

Ability to sync your Maison Sport calendar with your personal Apple/Google/Outlook calendar. This will mean that if you have an event in your personal calendar, such as a doctor’s appointment, holiday, or a booking with a private client – we can pull these events into your Maison Sport calendar and update your availability. This will no doubt save you a huge amount of time and ensure your availability is always correct! 

Your new calendar will also be accessible in your mobile ios/android apps, you’ll need to update your Maison Sport Instructor App to access this. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s live!

At the moment it’s difficult to see an overview of what timeslots you have available on each day, we’re going to change this with a useful new ‘timeslots view’ – watch this space.
