We are thrilled to announce the launch of our very own Instructor Community page, called the Boot Room. A place that enables independent instructors to come together as a community, work as teammates by giving each other a helping hand to improve their day! 




Click HERE and log in using your Maison Sport credentials to begin exploring the Boot Room!  You can access the Boot Room directly in your account via your Instructor Dashboard by clicking on ‘Boot Room’ as shown below.

The aim of the Boot Room




The big thing independent instructors miss out on compared to a ski school is having a network of teammates out on the slopes with them. The aim of the Boot Room is to help this problem, whether it’s a new instructor in a resort, looking to meet other instructors or if you ever have a problem and could do with a hand. 




Or even smaller things – a certain run may be great that day or particularly bad. We’ve all had a time when we’ve got to one of our favourite runs only to find it’s in poor condition, un-pisted, or worse – closed.

How does it work?




Join a space 




We encourage you to share your wealth of knowledge, ask questions and interact in discussions with one another. Currently, we have created a selection of “spaces” based on some of our most popular resorts and countries. The aim of these spaces is for instructors to connect and communicate, schedule meetups, ask for advice and ask/reply to questions. You will be able to have valuable and useful conversations and what’s more, you are able to search for any past comments and posts so you can refer back to conversations and questions anytime. 




We have also created an ‘MS Home’ space where you will find all the latest news and information from the Maison Sport Instructor Community Team and keep sure to keep an eye out on here as we will be posting some exciting giveaways in the coming weeks.

To join a space, simply click on a resort or country that you would like to be in and click ‘Join Space’ on the top right-hand side of the page as shown in the image below. This will automatically allow you in the group and you can begin conversing with your fellow Maison instructors.

Notifications 




You can manage your notifications of the Boot Room by clicking on the tab called ‘More’ then clicking on ‘Account Settings’ as shown below.

You will then see a tab called ‘Notifications’ as shown below and you will be able to see all the spaces that you have joined. You are able to manage your notifications by clicking on the button called ‘Manage’ next to each space you have joined.

This is the first version of the Boot Room, and it will be constantly evolving in the coming weeks as we add many exciting new features. However, we couldn’t keep this from you any longer and want to give you the opportunity to be one of the first instructors to trial, test and review the Boot Room.
