New verification and vetting process for our ski and snowboard instructors
We are pleased to share with you all that Maison Sport has introduced a new verification and vetting process for our ski and snowboarding instructors on our platform. Some of you may have already noticed a new little addition to your profile, a blue tick next to your name on your profile. This means that we have reviewed and verified your ski qualifications which you have submitted to your account.
If you have submitted your ski qualifications and are waiting to be verified, please get in touch with us by sending us an email at [email protected] or you can drop us a message on WhatsApp at +44 020 38658307.
Here is an example of where the blue ‘verified’ tick is displayed on your profile:
How can I become a verified Instructor on Maison Sport?
It’s very simple, if you are eligible to work as a ski or snowboard instructor in your chosen ski resort and hold the relevant qualifications, please upload this in your ‘Settings’ tab in your account under ‘Qualification’, alternatively, you may also send us a copy at [email protected].
For more information on which qualification you’ll need for the country you would like to teach in, please click here and click the second subheading named ‘Instructor Qualifications’ to find out more. If you are still unsure, please do not hesitate to contact us to speak to a member of the Maison Sport Instructor Community Team.
What is the difference between verified and activated Instructors?
If you do not have a blue tick next to your name, it means you are yet to submit your qualifications to Maison Sport for review. However, your account is active and you will still appear in the search results for customers. Customers will be aware that you have not been vetted by Maison Sport.
We would like to highlight that this will lower your chances of getting bookings as you will appear at the bottom of the search results and customers are increasingly likely to book a ‘verified’ instructor as opposed to one who is not.
We, therefore, highly advise that if you hold the relevant qualifications to teach in your ski resort, please do submit a copy on your account or send us a copy via email at [email protected] in order to receive a ‘verified’ blue tick on your profile and start receiving bookings!
How can I upload my proof of qualification to my account?
Firstly, login into your Maison Sport account and hover over your name in the top right corner in the toolbar, click on ‘Settings’ and it will bring you to this page below:
Click on ‘Upload certificate’ which is highlighted in yellow in the image above and here, you will be able to attach a copy of your certificate.
If you are an instructor registered in France, this page will look slightly different for you and it will require your Carte Professionnelle Number as opposed to an upload of certification, as shown below:
Once you have completed this, please do not forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘Save Changes’.
