Santa Cristina Ski Area

Santa Cristina’s ski area is divided into three main sectors; Monte Pana, Col Raiser, and the Seceda area. These sectors can be easily accessed from the town centre. Santa Cristina’s ski area comprises of 175km of runs, of which 52km are blue, 105km are red, and 18km are black.

Beginner Skiing in Santa Cristina

Though Santa Cristina is renowned for its challenging terrain, beginners need not worry. The resort offers several nursery slopes and gentle runs that are perfect for novices. The Monte Pana area is an ideal starting point with two beginner slopes and direct links to the Sella Ronda. Once you’ve gained confidence, you can try the blue runs in the Col Raiser area.

Intermediate Skiing in Santa Cristina

Santa Cristina is a dream destination for intermediate skiers. With a plethora of blue and red runs, skiers can develop their skills while enjoying the scenic beauty. The Saslong run, a World Cup downhill course, is the most iconic black run in Santa Cristina. With a maximum gradient of 57% and a total length of 3.4km, this run is an adrenaline-pumping experience. For an extreme challenge, try the Vallunga run, a black run that takes you through the picturesque Vallunga valley.

Off-piste Skiing in Santa Cristina

Santa Cristina is renowned for its terrific off-piste skiing opportunities. From steep chutes to snowy bowls, there’s something for every off-piste enthusiast. The Vallunga area is a popular off-piste destination, offering a thrilling descent through the forest. For a unique off-piste experience, try the Freeride Ciampinoi, a challenging route with a 700m vertical drop. Always remember to hire a local guide or instructor when venturing off-piste, as they have the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure your safety.

Snowparks in Santa Cristina

Santa Cristina boasts of two well-equipped snowparks, the Piz Sella Snowpark and the King Laurin Snowpark. These snowparks offer a variety of jumps, boxes, and rails for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.
