Obereggen Ski Area

The ski area in Obereggen is split into three main areas; Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo, all easily accessed from the resort. The area consists of 37 trails, of which 18% are easy, 50% medium and 32% difficult, offering a variety of skiing options to suit different skill levels.

Beginner Skiing in Obereggen

Despite its reputation as a resort for more experienced skiers, Obereggen caters well for beginners. It offers excellent snow conditions and beginner-friendly slopes such as Eben, Laner and Ochsenweide. Once beginners have gained confidence on the nursery slopes, they can explore the slower-paced slopes. The gentle runs in Obereggen are mainly located at lower altitudes, and the resort is home to some fantastic ski instructors who can guide beginners to the most suitable areas and help them advance their skiing technique.

Obereggen is a fantastic resort for intermediate skiers looking to challenge themselves. With numerous red runs to explore, intermediates will have plenty to keep them occupied. The Pampeago area offers a variety of long, sweeping red runs perfect for carving. The most famous run in Obereggen is the black piste, Pala di Santa, with a steep incline and an impressive 3km length, it’s a must-try for any experienced skier. For an additional challenge, tackle the Reiterjoch, a long, steep run with stunning views of the Dolomites.

Off-piste Skiing in Obereggen
