La Villa Ski Area

La Villa is part of the expansive Alta Badia ski region which makes up a portion of the Dolomiti Superski area. The resort has 130km of local ski runs, with 33% classified as easy, 61% as intermediate and 6% designated for expert skiers. The resort is conveniently linked to its neighbouring resorts of Corvara and San Cassiano, providing skiers with plenty of terrain to explore.

Beginner Skiing in La Villa

La Villa is an excellent choice for beginners, with a number of gentle slopes perfect for those just finding their ski legs. The resort is home to a convenient nursery slope located at the base of the mountain and several wide, gentle pistes for beginners to practice on. Once you have gained confidence, the Pralongià area offers a selection of beautiful green and easy blue runs perfect for beginners.

Intermediate Skiing in La Villa

For intermediate skiers, La Villa is excellent. With lots of red runs, intermediate skiers will enjoy the variety of terrain and the opportunity to challenge themselves. The Gran Risa run is a highlight for many, known for its challenging steep sections and breath-taking views. This infamous piste is home to the annual World Cup Giant Slalom race, making it a must-ski for any intermediate skier visiting La Villa.

Advanced Skiing in La Villa

Despite its reputation as a resort best suited for beginners and intermediates, La Villa does offer some exciting options for advanced skiers. The Vallon-Boè run, for example, is a thrilling black piste which provides a real adrenaline rush. Additionally, the resort’s location within the Dolomiti Superski area means that advanced skiers can easily access more challenging terrain in the neighbouring resorts.

Off-piste Skiing in La Villa

La Villa offers several off-piste opportunities for those seeking adventure beyond the groomed trails. The Vallon area is particularly popular, offering a range of off-piste itineraries that take you down through the beautiful tree-lined slopes. As always, if you plan to venture off-piste, hiring a local guide or instructor is highly recommended for your safety.

Snowparks in La Villa

Thrill-seekers will not be disappointed with the snowparks in La Villa. The Alta Badia Snowpark is a hit amongst freestyle skiers and snowboarders, with its array of kickers, rails and boxes. The park also features a fun slope, so even those who are new to freestyle can join in the fun.
