La Tania’s ski area offers 150km of local pisted runs, with 12% green, 39% blue, 38% red and 11% black. The resort is directly linked to the Three Valleys ski area, providing access to 600km of pisted terrain.

Beginner Skiing in La Tania

La Tania is a great ski resort for beginners. With its dedicated beginner areas, including a free drag lift and magic carpet lift, it provides a safe environment for first-time skiers. Once you feel confident enough to leave the nursery slopes, you can venture onto the gentle green runs like Folyères and Bouc Blanc. For those still building confidence, we recommend taking the gondola back down to the resort at the end of the day to avoid trickier slopes.

Intermediate Skiing in La Tania

La Tania is a paradise for intermediate skiers, with a wealth of blue and red runs to explore. The local area offers some fabulous tree-lined runs like Dou des Lanches and Brigues. For those feeling adventurous, the neighbouring resort of Courchevel has some challenging intermediate runs like the red Saulire and blue Altiport.

Advanced Skiing in La Tania

Advanced skiers will relish the challenging terrain La Tania has to offer. The black runs, such as Jean Blanc and Jockeys, will test your skills with their steep inclines and tight turns. For an extra challenge, try the infamous Grand Couloir in neighbouring Courchevel, one of the steepest black runs in the Alps.

Off-piste Skiing in La Tania

La Tania offers some fantastic off-piste skiing opportunities. The resort’s tree-lined slopes provide excellent off-piste skiing, especially in the Lanches sector. Another popular off-piste route is the Vallée des Avals, starting from the Col de la Loze and ending at the village of Le Praz. When venturing off-piste, it’s essential to book a local guide who is familiar with the terrain and safety procedures.

Snowparks in La Tania

For freestyle enthusiasts, La Tania provides access to the snowparks in the Three Valleys area. The Family Park in Courchevel, with its range of jumps and rails, is perfect for beginners and intermediates. More advanced freestylers can head to the DC Area 43 Snowpark in Méribel, which offers a range of big air jumps and a halfpipe.
