The ski season typically runs from late November through early April, providing plenty of time to explore the vast terrain.

Bruneck-Kronplatz is a paradise for skiers of all levels, boasting a whopping 119km of pisted terrain. The resort has 32 modern lifts, ensuring minimal wait times and easy access to the slopes.

For beginners, there are several wide, gentle slopes to practise on, with the Korer and Miara being particularly suited. The resort also offers a plethora of blue and red runs for intermediate skiers, such as the Pre da Peres and the Silvester.

Advanced skiers will find plenty to challenge them at Bruneck-Kronplatz, with steep black pistes like the Sylvester and the Herrnegg. Off-piste skiing is also available, with a number of guided routes offered for those who want to explore the mountain further.

Bruneck-Kronplatz also offers a snow park for freestyle enthusiasts. The Kronplatz Snowpark features a variety of jumps, boxes and rails, providing plenty of opportunities for freestyle skiers and snowboarders to test their skills.

Bruneck-Kronplatz is an ideal ski resort for families, with safe, pedestrianised centres and numerous ski-in-ski-out accommodations. The resort offers various family-friendly amenities, such as child-friendly restaurants and a play area. A number of family lift pass deals and discounts are available for children under the age of 16.

Despite its small size, Bruneck-Kronplatz offers a lively après-ski scene, with a variety of bars and restaurants to enjoy. The K1 and Gigger Alm are popular spots for a post-ski drink, while the Igloo Bar at the top of the mountain offers breathtaking views.

For those seeking late-night entertainment, Bruneck town has a number of bars and clubs that stay open until the early hours. Jora Hutte is a popular choice, known for its live music and fun atmosphere.

Bruneck-Kronplatz offers a range of dining options, from cosy mountain huts to sophisticated restaurants. In Bruneck town, Wirsthaus Hubenbauer and Restaurant Pizzeria Krone are local favourites, while the mountain restaurants offer hearty South Tyrolean cuisine in a stunning setting. The Alpen Restaurant at the summit of Kronplatz is particularly recommended, with panoramic views to accompany your meal.

How to Get to Bruneck-Kronplatz

The closest airports to Bruneck-Kronplatz are Bolzano Airport (1h20m), Innsbruck Airport (1h30m), and Venice Marco Polo Airport (3h). From these airports, regular transfer services are available to the resort. For those opting to travel by train, the nearest station is Brunico (Bruneck) with regular bus services to the resort.
